“The ground war on Iran is weak”, Major General Mohammad Bagheri told a news conference. However, he did not deny any future war against Iran.

» Iran and the next war
According to Russia today, Major General Mohammad Bagheri at an exhibition of Iranian air defence said the United States or any force in the world cannot attack Iran militarily. He also added that if the “arrogant” forces take the decision to start the war against Iran, the decision to end the war will not be with the attacker, because the attackers will certainly lose the battle.[1]
Furthermore, Bagheri stated that the development of surface-to-air missile systems is currently a priority of the Iranian armed forces because of the threats facing Iran, stressing that these missiles are defensive and not offensive. He also said that through developing missiles in Iran we can target any side that wants to oppose Iran because the threat of ground war against Iran is zero, but we cannot deny the existence of a threat of air and sea war against Iran. Bagheri continued to add that the Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei has given particular attention to air defence and calls for more investment in this unit from the armed forces of Iran.[2]
According to Ghatreh Agency, the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces stated that whosoever rule at the top of the structure of arrogant arrogance, they do not dare to invade Iran with their little reason. The invasion of Iran will not only be of no use to them but also will cause them plagues.[3]
The commander of the headquarters of [Khatam al-Anbia] for Air Defence Brigadier Farzad Ismaili said that the headquarters issued warnings and notifications of US spy planes in late March and August 2017. He added: Two radar systems of the headquarters of the air defence made this warning, and the plane to the warning ten minutes before the plane was identified approaching of Iran’s borders.[4]
On the other hand, Almezmaah Centre in the United Arab Emirates published a report on the Iranian arms industry and support of terrorism in the region for the instability of the countries in the region, especially the Arab countries, these actions caused the classification of the Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organisation. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard’s support for terrorist groups shows that the Iranian regime is feeling the danger of falling, and plans to save itself by setting off a war in the region.[5]
» Threats between Iran and the USA
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday expressed scepticism about Iran’s commitment to a nuclear deal between Tehran and the P5 + 1 on July 15, 2015. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump said the US was studying Tehran’s steps in developing its nuclear program, and he was personally convinced that Iran was not sticking to the joint comprehensive plan of action, according to the results of previous investigations.
Since the adoption of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan, US laws have required the president to confirm Tehran’s commitment to the nuclear agreement to congressional lawmakers every three months, depending on the results of the State Department’s investigations.[6]
US President Donald Trump made a veiled threat to Iran on Tuesday 25th July 2017, calling on Tehran to comply with the terms of the nuclear deal with world powers or face “very serious problems”. In fact Iran has violated the agreement several times since the arrival of Trump, such as Ballistic missile launch in February 2017; increased support for terrorist organisations that have caused a security and political agreement between the United States and Saudi Arabia on stopping the activity of terrorist organisations in the region; and disrespect for the nuclear deal, according to Trump, which is causing the United States to increase the embargo on Iran.[7]
The Guardian quoted informed sources that the White House is trying to pressure the US intelligence services to provide evidence to prove Iran’s violation of the nuclear agreement, as happened with Iraq in 2003. According to the Guardian, British intelligence officials learned lessons from the Iraqi experience, when America intervened militarily in Iraq with false evidence, and try to address these pressures.
The Guardian quoted a former CIA analyst Ned Bryce as saying his colleagues were complaining about the president’s attempts to influence them, saying they told him they were disgusted and had lived these events before.[8]
Iran has tested its new anti-air missile system “Power 373” similar to the system “S-300” Russian. Iran’s air defence chief, General Farzad Ismaili, said the new system was fully completed and was expected to enter service by March 2018. It means that Iran has launched a project to build its new missile defence system “Power 373”, after Russia decided in 2010 to suspend the contract delivery of Iran “S-300” because of international sanctions.[9]
In addition, Almezmaah Centre stated that not only international sanction but the ideas of supporting terrorism and Iran’s interference in the affairs of the region’s states have caused even countries close to Iran, such as Russia, to stop selling S-300 missiles to Iran. The centre said Iran had participated in the Yemen war via the Houthi, but Iran and its agenda failed in Yemen due to Iran’s weakness in military technology.
Furthermore, Abdulmunaem Almula, Secretary General of Iraqi International Expatriates Conference during the interview added that Iran from the inside suffers from problems more than suffering from outside. Moreover, Iran has not been strong at home after what has been strengthened abroad by the dominance of Iranian militias over the sovereignty of Iraq and even Afghanistan after the occupation of those countries by the United States under the Bush Jr. in 2001 and 2003. In fact, Iran was the only beneficiary of the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Almula added that Iran has been supporting all terrorist organisations, such as the Militias, ISIS and Al-Qaeda since 2003, in which Al-Qaeda did not have any place and supporters in Iraq before 2003. For example, the latest agreement between Hezbollah and ISIS is interpreted as an explanation for Iran’s close relationship with ISIS in Syria, Lebanon and even Iraq.
In another hand, Almula stated that because of the expansionist policy of Iran and the imposition of control and hegemony over the region and added to the weakness of Iran from the inside, all these factors led to the weakening of the Iranian power and thus weak control after the Russian intervention in Syria in September 2015. And the new government in the United States led by Trump, who has massive promises against the Iranian regime because of Iran’s policy of supporting terrorism and developing nuclear weapons. Iran is now on the line of refraction. If the new US government continues its policy toward Iran, Iran will weaken to the point where it cannot defend itself.
